Basic Design Requirements

Gabriel wants to know about zone ratios. There will be 20 lots, each with 13 sotok. Two of them will be devoted to the building.

What can we demonstrate about moist climate?

Zone 0

Zone 1

We will demonstrate zone 1 gardens around the main building.

Zone 2

We will demonstrate zone 2 systems around the main building.

Zone 3

Zone 4

Zone 4, as long term forestry and mushroom production, should include valuable timber and interplants, Pinus Sylvestris being a major timber species on the property.

There is a strong stand of Scots Pine on the property, which could be partially cut using Salatin's DABH system, then replanted to a supporting guild with trees that thrive in the same environment.

The second example in Guilds is probably similar to the eventual system.

Sergei wants to keep some of the pine, btw

I had told him Gabriel was running the numbers on building with it. But when he said that I told him that keeping existing growth is a permaculture value

Zone 5

An area including most of the two northwest lots (Current Arsaki Diagrams) should probably be our onsite zone 5, given the larger forest system in connection.
